MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT GOING TO HEAVEN IS SOMETHING WE HAVE TO EARN BY BEING GOOD, BY BEING KIND, BY DOING GOOD THINGS FOR OTHERS? WE ARE ENCOURAGED TO PRAY AND GO TO CHURCH. WHILE THESE ARE ALL GOOD THINGS TO DO, THEY WILL NOT EARN YOU A PLACE IN HEAVEN. The Bible says going to heaven is a free gift.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life.

Heaven is a Free Gift! In other words, you can't earn heaven. If a friend gave you a birthday present and you offered to work for it then it would not be a gift - Instead it would be wages.

We've all earned death "wages of sin" but God wants to give us eternal life.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE THE WONDERFUL GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE AND BE SURE YOU HAVE A HOME IN HEAVEN? TO RECEIVE THIS GIFT -LIFT YOUR HEART TO GOD IN PRAYER:

Heavenly father

I know that I am a sinner

I know that Jesus Christ your son died for my sins
and you raised him from the dead on the third day

I ask you Lord to forgive me of my sins right now
and come into my heart and make me a Christian

Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me

Now I ask you Lord Jesus to help me to live
for you and your kingdom the rest of my life
